Kantara was celebrated as one of Bookfest Award winners in New York City Times Square Nasdaq board on December 13, 2023.
This honor was given for winning two first place awards in the Fall 2023 competition.
Several award recipients were able to make it downtown, New York City to capture this picture.
Stephen and Mary were unable to attend this event for medical reasons, but nonetheless, this was an exciting day. Reviews for Kantara The Traveler have been overwhelmingly positive, and has even been called a new genre: Science Fantasy. This is one of the reasons Stephen and Mary love being indie authors…they have the freedom to explore stories without limitations of standardized genres.
